dO YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH US?

You can use your online Hart Cars account to book a new job, view existing jobs and manage your user details. The information below explains how to make the most of your account. Please don't hesitate to call us if you have any problems.
Registration

1. You have to register first for each type separately to book a car online:
To register you need to first do a quotation, then click “Register And Book”. Before you finish the registration process you have the option to set up a default pickup address.

2. All online bookings can be amended or cancelled after booking. You have to give 8 hours’ notice to book a car and bookings can only be amended or cancelled online before this 8 hour notice period. If you wish to cancel or amend the trip in this period please call us.

3. If you wish to change a credit card booking to cash booking online, you need to cancel the credit card job first, then login to your cash account and rebook the car. Or you can call/email us and ask us to convert the job from credit card to cash.

4. You can change job type (e.g. credit card to cash, etc.) in the car as well.

5. Please note as the office is not manned 23:00 to 06:00 UK time, we cannot accept online bookings/cancellation/amendments between 22:00 to 07:00.

Super user: Please call us if you wish to book cars for other people, we will set you up as an administrator.
Requesting a quotation

1. Input time (24hr clock) and date

2. Pickup address: Please select from the drop down menu whether it’s a local or any address – type in postcode or address, don’t forget house number! Or if airport collection please click the empty box – after selecting airport (below the time box) and you will be offered list of local airports.

3. Drop off Address: as above.

4. Vehicle type: Please select your vehicle (this adjusts quotation respectively). You will now be given the quotation.

5. New users please click on “Register And Book”
Registered users please click on “Login And Book” button to login and book.

If registered users wish to book a trip without getting a quotation first, please click on the “HOME” button to take you directly to the login page.
Booking a job

1. Input time (24hr clock) and date

2. Pickup address: Please select from the drop down menu whether it’s a local or any address – type in postcode or address, don’t forget house number! Or if airport collection please click the empty box – after selecting airport (below the time box) and you will be offered list of local airports.

3. Drop off Address: as above.

4. “HOME” button takes you back to Login Page

5. “EXTRA” button gives you the options of adding extra stops, driver notes, vehicle types etc.

6. Before you press “BOOK” on final page please tick the “I agree to T&Cs....” and enter the numerics in the blank box.
Useful shortcuts when inputting pickup or drop off addresses

When using local address in the drop down menu, instead of typing the whole address (if you don’t know the postcode) you can:

1. Type in the first three letters of what type of premises you wish to input, e.g. if it’s a company type in ”com”, if restaurant type in “res”, if train station type in “sta”, if hotel type in “hot”, etc.

2. Then type in the first three letters of the premise, e.g. if company is called Xerox type in” xer”, if restaurant is called Villa... type in “vil”, if train station is Farnborough type in “Far”, if hotel is Holiday Inn type in “hol”, etc.

You can narrow it down even further if you do not want a long drop down list by using the first three letters of the next word(s), e.g. Holiday Inn Farnborough, you can type in “hot hol inn Far” (this will take you to the Farnborough address instead of offering you all the Holiday Inn Hotels in the surrounding area.
